The lodge has 22 spacious en-suite rooms, all uniquely decorated in a true wildlife style. Every room is hand decorated from the beds, closets to light fixtures and closet handles. It's a one of a kind 4 star lodge in the Eastern Free State. All the rooms are equipped with DSTV, telephones, coffee/tea facilities and electric blankets for the cozy winters.

The Restaurant offers you breakfast, lunch and supper from an a la carté menu from 7 am until 10 pm weekdays, and from 11-3 Sundays.. Your host, Johan Strydom is a professional hunter and a collection of over a hundred trophies can be seen at the lodge, ranging from Africa to North America.

The Lodge is fully licensed, and the Pub has a rustic atmosphere, where pub lunches and fantastic grilled steaks can be enjoyed. Hunters Pub specializes in shooters and cocktails. Your bar tender will gladly advise you on all that is available.

Shaka's Kraal, our  lovely outside bar and restaurant is truly unique. The venue is perfect for year end functions or corporate entertainment, or just for relaxing after a long day's work. Inkwe Lodge caters for weddings and conferences up to 120 people. We can also provide the catering for your function. Our chef will meet with you to personalize your menu, and to make sure that we meet your needs, various budgets and dietary specifications.

Attractions at Inkwe Lodge: - Visits to Clarens - Known as the "Jewel of the Free State" the famous ochre and gold sandstone outcrops offer up some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Clarens has brought fame to the Eastern Free State with its thriving arts-and-crafts movements. There are also numerous shops and exciting flea markets to browse through. - Only 40 minutes drive from Clarens is the well-known Golden Gate National Park. With it's sublime rock formations, this treasure of the Free State lures thousands of visitors every year. - In the Bethlehem region there are a couple of loin farms where you can come close to this magnificent animal. You can walk with the lions or let them take you for a walk! - Bushman Paintings - Petrocliff - The last San became extinct around the turn of the 20th century. They left a rich heritage behind of Bushman paintings all across the Eastern Free State. These paintings paint a vivid picture of hunting and a simple life close to nature. - Game drives is a popular way to view wild animals in their original environment. Game viewing can be done from an open game vehicle, on horseback or on foot. - The picturesque Eastern Free State offers some of the best hiking trails in South Africa, whether it is for serious hiking or just to relax and enjoy the scenery.
